I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel. The rustic countryside feel was beautifully captured in every corner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were quaint and cozy, making it easy for senior people like myself to navigate and enjoy. It felt like stepping into a tranquil village from a bygone era.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff when it came to activities suitable for senior people. The children working there seemed more focused on the younger crowd, and I think a little more thought could have been put into ensuring a better vacation experience for us seniors.

We got great value for our money with an amazing room and beautiful surroundings. The staff treated us so well and made our stay special.
The breakfast selection could have been better, especially if they had opened the terrace for outdoor dining.

I recently stayed at Village Castigno and had a fantastic experience. I was in Assignan for just one night, but it was enough time to appreciate the beauty and charm of the hotel. The location is perfect, situated in the heart of Assignan with easy access to foodie heaven. The outside pools were a much-needed respite after a long car journey, and I loved that the hotel provided towels, flip flops, and a wicker basket for poolside enjoyment. The pool area and grounds were absolutely beautiful. Additionally, both dinner and breakfast at La Petite Table were outstanding. Our steak was cooked to perfection and breakfast was served on elegant China with a mouthwatering selection of fruit, pastries, bread, and conserves. I also appreciated the various activities available, even though I didn't have time to participate. it was a luxurious and restful experience, and I can't wait to return for a longer stay.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

An antidote to modern life, Village Castigno allowed us to reconnect with the pleasure of eating well, drinking well, and living well, all while sharing beautiful moments with our family. The departure from the village to explore the stunning estate in a 4x4, followed by a guided tour of the cellar, was an experience unlike any other. It brought us closer to the rich history and flavors of the region, and the knowledgeable guide made the tour both educational and enjoyable. We loved exploring the vineyard and learning about the winemaking process. It was a truly extraordinary way to spend time together as a family.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities at the resort.

Had an amazing Christmas experience at this hotel! Loved the stunning grounds and beautiful pool surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoyed delightful meals and a cozy, comfortable bed.
The hotel did not communicate that their restaurants would be closed on certain days, so we ended up having to drive quite a distance for food. This was a bit of a hassle and took away from the convenience of being at the hotel.
